さっきyoutubeでperfumeのPVを見たんです。既にitunesに入っている曲だったのですが、なんとなくPVを見たくなって。
レコードがCDになって、ipodが出てきて、昔以上に音楽をデータとしてぞんざいにしている気がします。歌詞なんかもきちんと聴いていないことが多くて、軽くノリで聞いてしまっていて。
PVで聞いたperfumeのDream Fighterに歌詞テロップが出ていました。あらためて歌詞を読んで、かなり感動、共感。その歌詞が今日のblogの書き出しなんです。
perfumeのダンスを「変な踊り」とか「あまり上手じゃない」という意見をよく聞くんですが、本当にそうなんでしょうか？
上手下手の基準がどこにあるか分からないんですが、僕はまた違った見方をしています。
perfumeのダンスって、独特、独自なんです。ダンスのジャンルでいうと僕はフラダンスに近いと思うんです。
というのも、手でかなり言葉そのものをダイレクトに表現しようとしていて、それはまた手話なんかにも通じるような気が。フラダンスも元々は手話に近い表現との説もあったりしますし。
そんなダンスはperfumeインディーズ時代（があったのです）から一貫してMIKIKOさんが担当。
ちなみにと言っちゃーなんですが、僕も以前スポーツクラブでダンス、HOUSEのクラスに出てたことあります。超下手っぴで、クラス最下位の出来だったので、ダンスうまい人は尊敬しちゃいます。
話し戻ってダンスじゃなくて歌詞。歌詞は例のごとく中田ヤスタカ！歌いだしの歌詞も良いのですが、もっと共感できたのがその後。

すげー腑に落ちた。いつもどこかで「ふつう」を意識していました。ふつうとは当たり前ということでもある。これぐらいはふつう。bleuの接客、サービス、色んなことが僕らの普通なんだって思いながら、じゃあ普通のままでいいの？って自問自答がありました。
いや、普通は理想に近いかもしれないけど、普通では駄目なんです。って、歌詞のまんまですね。
